Living costs from as low as £227.30 per month!
So how much do our rooms and apartments cost?
Our wide range of accommodation will suit many
lifestyles and many budgets. Our current single rooms start
from a very low £227.30 per month. This includes all
utility costs. At the other end of the scale, two
bedroom family homes are available at between £552.85 and
£764
per month (exclusive of Council Tax). Throughout our choice of homes, there are a variety
of options but with three constants throughout: Affordability,
Convenience and Quality.
Council Tax
For residents in our ‘shared’ accommodation,
we pay Council Tax on behalf of the residents, and
then charge on accordingly. This is collected at the
same time as the monthly rental outgoing. For residents
in ‘self contained’ accommodation, the
Local Authority will invoice directly for Council
Tax due.
Deposits
For new residents, a one month’s deposit payable
in advance is required. We are unable to take the
deposit over two months, however we will give the option to
ORH employees to pay in full either in the first or second
wage packet..
Understanding our rental structure…
a simple all inclusive cost
All of our homes are rented on an ‘Assured Shorthold
Tenancy’ or Licence Agreement basis, dependent
on the expected length of stay. Typically, the initial
agreement is for six months. One month’s notice
must be given by the resident when they want to move
on. The monthly rent includes: Maintenance, major
repairs and improvements, caretaking, cleaning, lighting
of communal areas, landscaping and administration
charges. With some of our homes, there is an additional
service charge payable monthly- this is for services
over and above the list already mentioned.
